To start with, the service advisor, Terry Lebo was very professional in her duties. As for the shop manager, it was like he was on a mission not to find anything wrong or even consider my issue with my vehicle. It's like sometimes the management side of the business thinks the general public doesn't know what they are talking about. I purchased my truck with 49 miles on it. I drive it every day...I am the only person driving the vehicle. It now has over 80K miles on it. Around the 60K mark I noticed a slight vibration or shutter when accelerating and deaccelerating, it also had a bad vibration/shutter between 70 and 75 mph. At first, I thought it was the original tires that was causing the issue. At 80K I replaced the original tires with Michelin Defender tires. The management of the dealership told me the tires were out of balance. it cost me 69.00 to find out the balance did not correct the issue. I carried the tires back to the company I purchased them from, and they checked the tires for defects and rebalanced them. The balance the dealership charged me for, when checked by the company I purchased the tires from, did not coincide on their balancer. It was showing that each tire required additional weight, weight removed and some weight relocated to different locations on the tire. Once checked and balanced and put back on the truck, there was a slight improvement. The main complaint still persisted. I carried my truck back to the dealership again and it was scheduled for someone to ride with me so I could show what my interpretation of the issue was. I never got to ride with anyone to show them what I was talking about...I was just told the problem was the tires and they would sell me new tires to correct this issue...I'm calling bull s___ on that one. So now I have a truck that will be out of warranty at 100K miles that I feel has issues that the dealership will not talk to me about it or even explain what I am feeling...another case of the customer being stupid about the vehicle they drive every day and notice when conditions change in that vehicle. Good business practices...
