Born in Lebanon. Attended Castle Heights Military Academy until its closing, graduated from Lebanon High School, and earned his B.A. in History and MBA at Cumberland University. Spent nine years as Chief Information Officer at Cumberland before joining the dealership.

A graduate of the Defense Information School at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Mitchel served with distinction as a journalist and public affairs specialist. Tours included Naval Broadcasting Station at Diego Garcia, Naval Security Group Activity in Adak, Alaska, and Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Beyond the boardroom and the dealership lot, Mitchel’s greatest pride is his family. He has been married to his wife Melinda for 25 years. This foundation is the cornerstone of the Wilson County Motors legacy.
