Wilson County Chevrolet - Buick - GMC believes strongly in supporting the local and regional community in order to promote growth, assist those less fortunate, and support organizations that make Middle Tennessee a great place to live.  While we are proud to provide generous monetary support to numerous causes, we feel contributing time and hard work is just as important.

Some of the organizations that Wilson County Motors and its employees are actively involved in are:

• Wilson County Teacher of the Year: Wilson County Chevrolet - Buick - GMC and Cedarstone Bank started this program over ten years ago to recognize outstanding achievement by those educating and guiding our children.  Each year we host a dinner that recognizes the best educators from all Wilson County schools. 
   
• Cumberland University: We have been proud to support our local university.  Both our founder, W.P. Bone Jr., and current owner, W.P. Bone III, have served with distiction on the Cumberland University Board of Trust.
   
• Boy Scouts of America Middle Tennessee Council: Members of Wilson County Chevrolet - Buick - GMC have long supported the fine work of the Boy Scouts.  Currently, both W.P. and Mitchel Bone serve on the Middle Tennessee Council Board of Trust.  Mitchel also contributes his time as the Chairman of the Walton Trail District.  W.P. is a recipient of the prestigious Silver Beaver Award for his years of service to the Boy Scouts.
   
• Leadership Wilson:  Leadership Wilson helps prepare Wilson County Tennessee's leaders to better serve their community.  Mitchel Bone, a 2004 alumni of Leadership Wilson, served on its board for three years.
   
• Lebanon \ Wilson County Chamber of Commerce:  Wilson County Chevrolet - Buick - GMC has been a proud member of the Lebanon \ Wilson County Chamber of Commerce since 1927.  Mitchel Bone currently serves on its board.
   
• Mt. Juliet - West Wilson Chamber of Commerce: Wilson County Chevrolet - Buick - GMC is a proud member of the Mt. Juliet - West Wilson Chamber of Commerce. 
   
• Wilson County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates):  CASA is an important community organization that is instrumental in helping children in the court system.  Mitchel Bone has supported them by serving on the board since 2005 and is currently serving a two-year term as board president.
